Bodega is a social auction application that brings millions of active users from multiple social networking platforms together, allowing them to bid, buy and communicate with each other online.  Bodega Shop's auction and messaging systems enable users on different social networks to trade and share real and virtual goods.

Bodega items can be bought and sold via silent auctions, where users set the maximum price they are willing to pay and the application automatically increases the bids, as necessary up to that maximum, or via "Buy it Now" which allows users to instantly purchase items at a set price.

All auction transactions are settled through the Bodega Proprietary Virtual Currency: the "Credit" .  Users can buy Credit directly from Bodega through all major credit cards, PayPal, or mobile payment.  Additionally, users can earn Credits by completing incentive advertising offers

Credit are Bodega's own virtual currency for social networks. You can earn Credit, transfer Credit, donate Credit and spend Credit on the Bodega Social Auction.

A virtual currency is the currency used in a virtual economy, such as those created inside internet games.  As with any economy or currency, virtual economies and currencies are subject to scam artists and fraud, something we take very seriously here at Bodega.  By limiting the number of free daily transactions a Bodega member can make, we are enhancing the security for the entire Bodega community.  If you want to make more than 3 transactions per day, all you have to do is become a Certified Bodega Member

There are many benefits of becoming a Certified Bodega Member. You will have unlimited daily transactions, where non-certified members are limited to three per day. In addition to unlimited transactions, as a seller, your items will be shown at the top of the listing page, with the non-certified member's items below yours. Furthermore, you are entitled to Bodega Rewards, which are reserved exclusively for Bodega Certified Users.

Bodega Rewards is Bodega's way of saying thank you for becoming a Bodega Certified Member. Every time you use Bodega, you will be rewarded with Credit. The rewards per activity break down like this:

1. Add a Bodega friend to Bodega - 50 Credits

2. List a virtual item - 50 Credits

3. Comment on an item - 25 Credits

4. Buy an item - 25 Credits

As you can see, it is well worth your while to become an active Bodega Certified Member!

Browse through item listings on the Home page or simply enter what you're looking for in the search box. Once you've found the item, service, or virtual good that you want, place a bid by selecting the item and entering the Credit amount to open your bid. After your bid has been placed you will receive notifications when you are outbid, when the auction is coming to an end, and when you've won. The Bodega user with the highest bid amount wins the auction.

Bodega allows users to sell real and virtual goods. To sell an item, click on the "Sell" link and complete the sell form. Including an image is important; users will want to see what they are buying. Be thorough and accurate with your item description. After providing the item's details, preview the listing and then list the item.

You can edit your listing two ways:

1. Item Description page: In your item's complete description, you will find links to "Edit" and "Delete" the listing.

2. My Activity: You can edit your listing by clicking on the appropriate "Edit" link in the "My Active Items" section of the My Activity page.

Copy the embedded link and paste it in the section that says �Video URL,' which you will see when listing an item.

Copy the URL to the MP3 file you wish to list and paste it in the section that says 'Play a Song'.

You can either place a comment below the listed item you're viewing and ask your question in public, or you can click on "Contact User", under seller details, to ask a question privately.

The shipping costs for real items should be worked out between the buyer and seller.

There are three ways for you to earn Credits:

1. Selling real items, services, and virtual goods through Bodega Auctions: List your items, set the minimum bid and watch as other users bid higher and higher!

2. Buy Credits: Earn more Credits by simply paying cash through PayPal, Social Gold, mobile payments or using your credit card. Every $1 will buy you 1000 Credits!

3. Completing offers: Click the "Add Credits" link to check out special offers from advertisers.  You can earn anywhere from 10 to 30,000 Credits within minutes by completing the offers you see there.  When you complete offers, your Credits will usually appear immediately.  However, on some occasions you may not get credit for offers you complete. If this happens click the following link http://apps.facebook.com/bodegashop/offers and click on "View earning status" to check your remuneration status. Keep in mind Credits that are awarded for Bodega activity can take up to 24 hours to appear on your account.

You can buy Credits on the "Earn" page using PayPal, Social Gold, mobile payments or by using your credit card.

Spend them: Use Credits to bid on and/or buy real items, services, and virtual goods listed on the Bodega Shop.

Donate them: Redeem your Credits to make donations to the charity of your choice.

Convert them: Convert Credits to other virtual currencies which can then be used to buy other applications.

Transfer to friends: Want to help a friend collect enough Credits to buy what they really need? Gift one or more of your Credits to them!
